I’ve never read H. Jackson Brown’s ‘Life’s Little Instruction‘ book, but his sunrise tip is one I strongly recommend. Others you may like include flossing your teeth, drinking champagne for no reason at all, being suspicious of all politicians and planting a tree on your Birthday. I think I may acquire the book!
At this time of year in the northern hemisphere it is relatively easy to go out at dawn, as sunrise isn’t too early. So if you haven’t yet managed to watch it this year make a note to yourself to have a go before the end of year. And if you manage to get up in time this month it is also a wonderful opportunity to see beautiful lines; essential if you are taking part in a photo blogging challenge titled lines&squares!
If you have been enjoying this blog for a few years then you will know I regularly rise at dawn, and have over the years been spoilt by the sunrises over the Ria Formosa. It is a wonderful way to start the day.
Magical! Love all the red colors in your skies.
Oh thank you so much 😊
Was this inspired by another blogs sunrise photo? 😛💕😉
hee hee . . . . possibly
😬😉💕
Captivating photos! Great job.
Thank you
This is something I always tell myself, but have yet to do, at home. Even this morning as I watched day rise, I thought, I should get dressed and go out. We live right on the edge of Lake Ontario and get great sunrises. Okay, I’ve convinced myself, tomorrow!
I have found it is bit like exercise, the first attempt is always a challenge but once you have done it once then you want to watch again and again! I really hope it is a good one for you tomorrow 🙂
Fabulous series of photos Becky 😀 I agree with the sentiment that champagne should be drunk without reason
hee hee . . . only reason to drink it I think!
👍😁😘
Gorgeous photos and hard if I had to pick a favourite but I particularly like the second one. For some reason when I’m camping I get up earlier than I do for work so I’ve seen some lovely sunrises over the last few years 🙂
Thank you so much . . . and yes the joys of camping are the mornings
You have indeed been spoilt! 🙂 🙂 How beautiful are these! 🙂 🙂
It was a glorious morning . . .I was out there a while 🙂
Stunning scenes! I often watch the sun rise from our kitchen window, over the trees on the hill.
oh you are so lucky . . .difficult to do for us in England. Mornings like this are one of the things I love most about our life in Portugal.
Fabulous, especially that last picture!
awww thank you so much Andrew. We are so fortunate to have this right on our doorstep
So beautiful there Becky!
It really is 😊
