Cats in Fuzeta

Never can resist a cat, especially one as daft as this one!  Think he has a lot to learn from Sally and her mice techniques, and also the Siamese under the boat who seems to have a feast.

Sally, having swallowed cheese,

Directs down holes the scented breeze,

Enticing thus with baited breath

Nice mice to an untimely death.

Fuzeta is a charming fishing village, easily accessible from Olhão by car and train.  In fact going by train is probably the more interesting way to go between the two places as the views of the Ria Formosa are much better from the train than from the car.  And the station in Fuzeta is only a short walk from the sea front.

If you enjoy bird watching but prefer to watch from a park bench close to cafes then Fuzeta is perfect for you.  And you will be delighted by how close you can get to the waders.   It is definitely though somewhere to visit out of season as even in early February it is busy.
