Birds at Sunset

An evening stroll before dinner is one of our favourite things to do, and when sun sets after 6:30pm and the restaurants don’t serve before 7pm in the evenings, it is also a very sensible thing to do!

Of course the light is better in the mornings for bird identification but the beauty of the birds at sunset is truly something to behold in the Ria Formosa.  Whilst we are out walking this evening here are a few of my favourite shots for you, I hope, to enjoy.

The waders move across the skies in huge numbers, and yet sometimes as they turn they can disappear into the sky

It had been a good life walking, cooking, photographing, volunteering, blogging, and best of all spending time with MrB, family, & friends. Sadly it is no longer what it was, as suddenly and unexpectedly I became a widow.

  1. The first one is my favourite. I was wondering why your photos are so small on the blog. It’s stunning when I open it up but it takes a long time to load.
