Something artistic for today, plus after the last two days when my shots had a hint of grey skies I thought something bluer would be rather nice. Springtime is a wonderful time to go exploring in Portugal, we cannot wait to be back here in 2022. We missed it so much this year, and also last year⠀
Mine are only just germinating but at this time of year in the #Algarve they are in all their glory - love springtime in Portugal⠀
As we drive up to one of our favourite places for hikes in the Algarve, there's a bend in the road where you get a great view of one of the reservoirs. It was rather misty when I took this in early April of 2019, but I still cannot resist sharing it today. ⠀
Love it when they land on a wire and you can capture them in all their technicolor glory. ⠀
Another day in the saltpans and plenty of waders to see. However this was taken two years before yesterday's shot and the waders were not the reason I took it. Can you spy the two terns?⠀
#OTD in 2019 we were taking it easy after a rather lengthy walk the day before, and easy for us means spending a few hours birding in the saltpans. And who can resist a Black Winged Stilt, I certainly can't! ⠀
