Only a couple of posts left for the 10 day travel photo challenge, but today’s was easy to decide. Today the sun will reach its southernmost point at 10:02am.

This one I took on a previous solstice at dawn. If you fancy enjoy a few more moments at dawn, then do visit the original post.
Gorgeous!

Thank you Cee. Can still remember the morning, it was so special
That is beautiful.. We had a lovely pink sky to here this morning.. 😉
Oh I’m envious, we had grey!
Wow, what a nice shot Becky!
Thank you so much 🙂
Yay! I know we won’t see the benefit for at least another month but it’s a day to celebrate and what a cracking photo! Bulbs poking up above the ground already so won’t be too long before we see flowers 🌸
Yay, can’t wait 🤗
Actually I haven’t found it so bad so far this year, I was much more depressed by the weather last year. Maybe we have had more to worry about!
Ah we’re the other way round, but think you might be right about other things to worry about!
This is a lovely shot. But for me, tomorrow is more the day to celebrate. The day will be longer than today – a bit!
Good point!
The last 2 years we’ve been at a Winter Solstice party. This year I shall simply enjoy the beauty around me. We should have been on a flight ‘home’ today. Beautiful shot, Becky 🙂 🙂
Thanks Jo, and yes do enjoy the beauty around you. You’re in a far safer place than we are!
Becky is right. You are in a much better place. Enjoy it.
