Christmas Travel no7

Only a couple of posts left for the 10 day travel photo challenge, but today’s was easy to decide. Today the sun will reach its southernmost point at 10:02am.

This one I took on a previous solstice at dawn. If you fancy enjoy a few more moments at dawn, then do visit the original post.

It had been a good life walking, cooking, photographing, volunteering, blogging, and best of all spending time with MrB, family, & friends. Sadly it is no longer what it was, as suddenly and unexpectedly I became a widow.

  1. Yay! I know we won’t see the benefit for at least another month but it’s a day to celebrate and what a cracking photo! Bulbs poking up above the ground already so won’t be too long before we see flowers 🌸

      1. Actually I haven’t found it so bad so far this year, I was much more depressed by the weather last year. Maybe we have had more to worry about!

  2. The last 2 years we’ve been at a Winter Solstice party. This year I shall simply enjoy the beauty around me. We should have been on a flight ‘home’ today. Beautiful shot, Becky 🙂 🙂
