It is considered one of the ‘unmissable’ sights of Porto, and unusually for me I completely concur with the guidebooks on this!

Worth visiting if you enjoy playing traditional ‘board’ games
is open to the public for just a few euros, well worth visiting.
I have no idea if that is true but they are certainly extensive and in a beautiful location
