Past memories

The last time we were here at this time of year was in 2018, and so our return in a few weeks is going to feel very special. We don’t know yet how long this sojourn will be, as whilst we are registered as resident there remain Brexit complications for us and other Brits who wish to continue to lead “swallow” lives in Europe. The conversations and research continue but whilst we wait for definitive answers I am going to look ahead to our evening constitutionals in the saltpans and around the harbour.

When we left in spring 2019 the town council was in the middle of implementing a major upgrade project along the seafront. So I expect one of my first posts on our return will be recording those changes. Today though I just wanted to remind myself what is hopefully unchanged – the skies and the views! This post is also an opportunity to catch up with some challenges including #PastSquares and a #LifeinColour.

If you cannot wait until the end of the month for new posts why not visit some past walks – here’s one from mid November 2018 and another from earlier in the same month. All are within sight of our rented accommodation.

It had been a good life walking, cooking, photographing, volunteering, blogging, and best of all spending time with MrB, family, & friends. Sadly it is no longer what it was, as suddenly and unexpectedly I became a widow.

    1. Some items in a pile in a corner, and a list in my head, but nowhere near packing stage yet. So much to do on my festival aftermath list!

        1. Managed to finish editing all the live stream recordings today, so that’s a huge load off my mind. Now just review to write and minutes top type up. Fingers crossed will finish tomorrow as that way I can focus on enjoying my time with Tabitha at weekend and Mum next week.

        2. That’s the plan for today – also though need to get house ready and go and get my car back from garage. Going to be one of those busy days I suspect
